PSYC 331 Human Factors and Engineering Psychology

This advanced course provides an overview of the role of psychology in the design of the systems with which humans interact. The course examines how knowledge of the psychological capabilities, limitations, and preferences of humans can be used in design and practical applications to increase the efficiency, usability, and desirability of systems and decrease human errors, accidents, and annoyance.
