IA 340 Special Topics: The Political and Economic Geography of Southeast Asia
A major global crossroads, Southeast Asia is an incredibly diverse region, whose countries differ demographically, politically, economically, and socially in fascinating ways despite also being deeply linked by shared histories and physical and political geographies. This course introduces students to this vibrant region in order to develop an understanding of how physical, historical, political, and economic geographies interact to shape the region today.
