BIOL 201 Invertebrates and World Health
An introduction to the major invertebrate phyla which cause or are vectors for human disease, often in the third world. We will study the natural history, phylogeny/systematic, anatomy, life cycles, and public health concerns for human populations at risk for disease caused or vectored by protists, cnidarians helminthes, nematodes, mollusks, chelicerates and insects.
