CM 106 A Modeling Based Approach to Biology

Biological modeling is the use of methods to investigate complex, real-world problems so that predictions can be made about what may occur under a variety of conditions. This is an interdisciplinary course that combines biology, modeling and computation, and is intended to introduce students to complex real-world problems and issues that require an interdisciplinary focus, awareness and approaches to generate reasonable solutions to biological problems.
