ENG 206 Literary History
How is literary history constructed? What is the canon of great works
Prerequisite
engaging students in an exploration of canon formation, marginalization, intertextuality, and influence. Readings are chosen from British, American, and Anglophone literatures and from various genres; texts from at least three literary periods are studied in depth.
