Theater Minor (Class of 2026 and Beyond)

Requirements

The minor consists of a minim of six credits (five courses and four 0.25 credit practicums):

THTR 101	Introduction to Theater
THTR 110	World Theater I: Antiquity to the 19th Century	1
	Or
THTR 111	World Theater II: 19th -21st Century Drama
	Three theater electives, one of which must be at the 300-level

• Four semesters of Theater Practicum THTR 120 or THTR 121 or THTR 122, with at least two semesters of THTR 121.

Electives are selected in consultation with the adviser or Department Head. The adviser will encourage students to work with mentors through independent study and internships. However, no more than one semester of internship may be counted toward the major or minor.
