EVST 370 Land Acts: How Land Influences Literature, Law, History, and Our Lives

Land’s Acts asks what happens when we view land as something to act with rather than on. We will read work from Native American and European peoples who see land as a living member of society. We will partner with land to grow crops on LaFarm alongside Delaware Nation of Oklahoma. At the conclusion of our course, when we have our eyes to the ground, we might see a new world at our feet.
