GEOL 215 Sedimentology and Stratigraphy
Sediments and sedimentary rocks record information about Earth's surface environments and their change through geologic time. This course is a detailed study of the development and structure of both sedimentary deposits and the stratigraphic record. Focus topics include modern and ancient depositional systems, field stratigraphy, and basin analysis. [W]
