GERM 424 From Modernism to Postmodernism and Beyond: Literature and Film of the German-Speaking World in the Twentieth Century

This course provides a comprehensive overview of poetry, prose, and drama of the twentieth century. Focus is on matters of literary style, as well as major social, political, and cultural movements that influenced and shaped literary and artistic expression from the turn of the century to the present.
