HIST 375 Seminar in African History

The seminar addresses a major theme in the field of African History by facilitating a close reading, and discussion of selected key texts. Students enrolled in the seminar will write a research paper based on their analysis of primary and secondary sources. Research papers must demonstrate a good understanding of the literature and the major debates. Assignments are designed to develop your writing, research and analytical skills.
