Asian Studies, A.B. Major

Requirements

The major consists of a minimum of nine courses:

ASIA 101	Introduction to Asian Studies	1
ASIA 490	Capstone	1
	Or
ASIA 495-496	Thesis	1
	Seven approved electives
	Foreign Language requirement

Electives chosen from at least two academic disciplines. A maximum of two language courses may be used as major electives.

Asian Language: Intermediate proficiency, e.g. CHN 112/JAPN 112 or another approved Asian language.
