Philosophy Major

Requirements

The major consists of a minimum of 10 courses:

PHIL 101Introduction to Philosophy

PHIL 214Ancient Greek Philosophy: Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle

PHIL 216The Birth of Modern European Philosophy: From Descartes to Kant

PHIL
Two electives in Metaphysics/Epistemology/Logic/Language

PHIL
Two electives in Value Theory

Three (3) Approved PHIL Electives

Electives: At least two of the seven electives must be at the 300-level or above. Select from table below.
