ES 231 Nature of Engineering Materials

Emphasis is placed on understanding the mechanical, physical, and chemical behavior through fundamental scientific principles. Discussion of historical case studies and recent innovations to reinforce the significance of materials science in real-world applications. Students may not receive credit for both ES 231 and ES 232.
