SPAN 318 Latin American Literature

An introduction to the literature of Latin America, from the early twentieth century to the present day. Among the issues addressed are the literature of social protest and reform, artistic experimentation in contemporary poetry and narrative fiction, and the rise of the novel in the second half of the twentieth century.
