THTR 287 Scenic Design
In this course, students will develop language and practice skills that communicate aesthetic concepts and semiotic connections, informed by dramaturgical analysis, in order to generate their own artful expressions through scenery. These instances of applied analysis and interpretation will challenge students to construct evaluative artistic responses to concepts including, but not limited to, matters of ethical conduct, identity, and justice.
