BIOL 279 Quantitative Biology

This course provides an introduction of quantitative reasoning to biologists. Topics include data organization, experimental design, statistical inference, data visualization, bioinformatics, modeling and simulation. All content will be illustrated by biological examples and data sets. Learning how to us the statistical software package R will be a key components of the course.
