BIOL 343 Climate Change in Ecological Communities

In this course, we will investigate how global anthropogenic climate change is impacting ecosystems at several scales. We will use the primary literature to investigate the impacts of climate change on the traits of individual organisms (such as behavior, life history timing, and morphology), the ranges and sizes of populations, and the interactions within communities of organisms, and will also emphasize conservation ecology and its role in our responses to climate change.
