ORGS 201 Introduction to Organizational Studies

This introductory course provides a background into the subject matter of organizational studies. Students will learn different organizational theories, read multidisciplinary scholarship on
organizations, and use case studies to appraise concepts and theories in action.  The course will examine how people act inside organizations and how organizations can impact individuals and
communities, drawing on multiple examples across both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. (Formerly A&S 247)
